SPONSORSHIP, an essential support

It is essential for us to rely on a sufficient number of individual donators who commit themselves for the long term, in order to fulfill our missions and give life to our numerous projects in favor of the most destitute children of Kathmandu.

APC proposes a system in function of your means.

There are 3 possibilities (*):

- 15 euros / month : with this amount we can take care of one kid from Balkendra or Kalimati shelters .
- 30 euros / month : with this amount, we can take care of two kids of Balkendra or Kalimati shelters, or one of Poonhill shelter (save scholarship)§      
- 50 euros / month : with this amount, we can take care of one kid of Poonhill shelter (housing and scholarship).

(*) For higher simplicity, we shall propose you automatic withdrawal, whose fees are chargeable to us.

LINK WITH THE KID

Since a sponsoring relationship implies having interest in the kid and desiring to offer it a life like any other kid, we think it is important that you get regular news. Therefore we inform you a least once per year of the situation and the development of the kid you sponsor. Every time it is possible, we also try to institute direct contact, via e-mail (a safer way than mail) between the child and the sponsor.
Furthermore, if you are to visit Nepal, you will be warmly invited to visit our shelters and meet the children.


TAX DEDUCTIONS

In France, donations to associations benefit from a 75% deduction on tax.

 in the limit of 470 €/year, and 66% for the share of the donation comprised between 470 € and 20% of the taxable income. The share of donation beyond this limit can be transferred in the 5 following years and give right to the same tax deduction, in the same limit.

e.g.: for a 30 €/month sponsoring,  i.e. a 360 € yearly donation you benefit from 270 € of tax deduction (and the sponsoring costs you in fact only 90 €).

To benefit from these tax reductions, you just need to attach to your tax return the receipt we send you after every donation, or in year-end for sponsoring.
