Having rest before the class starts on Anal Jyoti Boarding School benches.

This shelter, last stage of our presence in favor of Katmandu’s street children, provides a complete structure for reinsertion. Currently starting, it shall replace the individual actions led in the past years.

Are to be housed :

- children/teenagers from Poonhill or Balkendra shelters who are ending their scholarship and have no placement opportunity in reason of a lack of training or a lack of family support,
- children/teenagers from Kalimati shelter who aim at more remunerating and closer to their aspirations jobs,
- children/teenagers surviving in the streets of Basantapur and who desire to build their future out of the street.

Are to be comprised:

- a farm-shelter which houses the trainees and serves as transition structure for the children whose past on the street is still near
- workshops which will be used for real-life training (1 to 2 years) or employment  (cooperative structure) for those who don’t want or cannot create their own micro-firm.
- a structure designed to help and guide for installation.

Some trainings will also be taken in charge through apprenticeship,
a not very developed way in Nepal.

Before it enters these structures, we ask every kid to define a personal project of living, so that it remains the main actor of its reinsertion.

This project should on the long term be self-financing, for all or part of its needs, thanks to the agricultural and crafts activities.
